Grace McGregor, PhD, joined Phanes Therapeutics, Inc, as a Senior Scientist before transitioning to a clinical role where she is now Executive Director, Clinical Development. Grace joined Phanes in 2022 following a postdoc at UC San Diego and the Salk Institute, in the lab of Professor Christian Metallo, where she focused on cancer metabolism and macular telangiectasia type 2. Grace holds a PhD in cancer biology from the University of Glasgow, Cancer Research UK Scotland Institute, where she worked across the labs of Professor Owen Sansom and Professor Jurre Kamphorst. Throughout her PhD, Grace was supported by Cancer Research UK and The Rosetrees Trust, during which time she focused on developing targeted approaches to study cancer metabolism both in vitro and in vivo.

Grace holds an MA and BA (hons) from the University of Cambridge, where she read Natural Sciences (biological) before pursuing her PhD.
